4 Rounds for Time :

24 Toes to Bar

12 Sandbag Cleans over the shoulder


Men weight: 150lbs

Women weight: 100lbs



Time Cap: 10 minutes
Heat size: 10 players
Points : 100 pts

Flow

This event starts with the athletes on the starting grid. At the count of 321 go, the athletes will go to the rig and perform 24 Toes to Bars.


After completing the work-they will then make their way to the sandbag and perform 6 sandbag cleans (over the shoulder). After the athlete has completed 6 cleans, they will advance their sandbag to the next section and perform 6 more cleans. After completing the 12 reps total per round, the athlete will advance the sandbag again and then make their way back to the rig to start round 2.


This pattern will continue until all 4 rounds are completed. After completion, the athletes will advance to the finish line.

The resulting score would be automatically moved to just below the last placed Rx competitor, but you will still enjoy the workout and the Atlas Games Experience!  


Scoring:

The athlete's score is his or her total time for completing the event.


Movement Standards:

Toes to Bar
  • Athletes begin by hanging from the pull-up bar with arms extended.

  • The heels must be brought back behind the bar.

  • Overhand, underhand, or mixed grips are all permitted.

  • Both feet must contact the bar between the hands at the same time.

  • Any part of the feet may make contact with the bar.

The rep is credited when:

  • When both feet contact the bar between the hands at the same time.

  • Any part of the feet may make contact with the bar.

Sandbag Clean over the shoulder
  • Each rep begins with the sandbag touching the floor.

  • The sandbag must be brought over the shoulder.

  • Power cleans, squat cleans, and split cleans of the sandbag are permitted. As long as the athlete reaches the full extension of the body before the sandbag is passed over the shoulder.

  • Athletes must reach a full extension of the knees, hip and shoulder when the sandbag is passed over the shoulder.

  • The athlete may touch and go the first rep after carrying the sandbag to the next section

  • The athlete may walk from one section to the other with the sandbag on shoulder or roll it. If the sandbag is brought on the shoulder, it needs to be brought back to the floor to start the next rep.


The rep is credited when:

  • The athlete’s hips and knees reach full extension and the sandbag is passed over the shoulder.
